Country artist LeAnn Rimes will perform will perform at the Preston Arts Center on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. The show is part of the Henderson Area Arts Alliance’s 24th season.
Rimes has sold more than 44 million albums, won two Grammy Awards, three Academy of Country Music Awards and 12 Billboard Music Awards. Rimes is the youngest recipient of a Grammy Award, and was also the first country recording artist to win in the “Best New Artist” category. Rimes rose to stardom at age 13 following the release of her version of the Bill Mack song “Blue,” becoming the youngest country music star since Tanya Tucker in 1972.

In addition to the performance, the Ohio Valley Art League will host a reception for The Art of Recycling Exhibition in the Preston Arts Center Stagg Room prior to the show, starting at 6:00 p.m. Awards for the exhibition will be given out at 6:30 p.m.
