A combination of wit and chamber music is what the five men of Canadian Brass share during an evening of elaborately orchestrated arrangements that flow effortlessly from genre-to-genre. From Baroque to Bach to the more humorous performance of Bizet's "Carmen," this quintet is sure to engage the audience in an unforgetable night of classical materpieces. After 34 years of playing together, the group has mastered the likes of Pachelbel, Beethoven, and J.S. Bach, and also discovered the most enjoyable and entertaining methods of presenting these selection. Comprised of Stuart Laughton, trumpet, Justin Emerich, trumpet, Bernhard Scully, French horn, Eugene Watts, trombone, and Chuck Daellenbach, tuba, this holiday performance will feature pieces from the group's more than 60 recordings.
