From his toe-tappin’ honky tonk to his grassroots gospel, Marty Stuart is truly country music’s Renaissance man. For over four decades, Stuart’s song have topped the charts and earned international acclaim. His most recent Grammy (2011) for “Hummingbyrd” is a testament that there’s still more gas in Stuart’s tour bus and there’s no sign of slowing down. His travels have taken him from plucking the mandolin for Lester Flatts, to the Grand Ole Opry, to making history alongside some of country music’s greatests. This event will be the kick-off event for the 2011 Bluegrass in the Park and Folklife Festival!
